Advice
As soon as landing at Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will greet you at the pickup lobby and drive you to the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Along the way to the city center, you will be given a brief introduction to the city’s traffic, cuisine, culture, and well-known attractions. Complete the check-in process and rest once you have arrived at your hotel.

Later, our tour guide will lead you to visit around Hanoi Old Quarter. Begin to visit a small pagoda named Ba Da, quietly located in a small alleyway. This sacred ancient pagoda was built in 1056, associating with legends from Le Dynasty times and is just a few steps away from the Great Cathedral. Continue walking through the streets of Hanoi such as Ma May, Hang Ma, Hang Bac… Stop to explore the Dong Xuan market, the largest market in Hanoi. Then walk to Ta Hien Street, which is renowned for its street food and nightlife. Experience the vibrant pace of life, enjoy the energetic atmosphere, and relish dishes and drinks in Hanoi.

Visit the Temple of Literature, explore the Museum of Ethnology, stroll in the French Quarter, and tour the Ho Chi Minh complex.
9:00 AM: Leave your hotel to visit the Temple of Literature, the cultural and educational center of Vietnam during feudal times. This historical relic complex was constructed in the 11th century under the Ly dynasty to worship Confucius and teach royal children and nobles. Take a stroll in the Giam Garden and head to the Khue Van Cac – the symbol of Hanoi. Explore Vietnam’s first university – Quoc Tu Giam, and then visit monuments like the 82 doctoral stelae (a UNESCO World Documentary Heritage), the House of Ceremonies, Thien Quang Well, Khai Thanh Temple…
The next destination is the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which provides a comprehensive exploration of Vietnamese culture through costumes, traditional houses, musical instruments, and labor tools from 54 ethnic groups displayed here. It takes about 2 hours to complete a visit to this exciting museum.
In the afternoon, take a tour of the French Quarter, likened to a “little Paris” in Hanoi with tree-lined streets, government head offices, and a big square. Admire the outside of Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum. Then go for a walk through the botanical gardens to visit the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s house on the stilt (where Uncle Ho used to live and work). proceed to visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique architectural masterpiece and one of Hanoi’s symbols. The tour lasts 1-2 hours, depending on the number of visitors.
Finally, watch the water puppet show. This is a unique Vietnamese performing art, which originated in the Red River Delta and first appeared in the 11th century. The content of these performances often revolves around historical events or describes the culture, beliefs, and rural life of Vietnam through controlling puppets on the water. The show also integrates traditional music.
Take you back to the hotel.
Travel to Ha Giang, and take in the scenic views along the way. Then trek to explore Me, Lup, and Tha villages.
8:00 AM: Start your journey to Ha Giang following the highway via Phu Tho province. During the drive, stop to visit the Dao village in Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang. Explore unique stilt houses with typical architectural styles of ethnic groups in the high mountains.
We will arrive in Ha Giang in the mid-afternoon, check in at the homestay and store your luggage here. Then start trekking along small winding roads to explore the villages: Me – Lup – Tha. These village still retains their unspoiled beauty featuring rustic stilt houses looming on the hillside. Especially when reaching Tha village – a small village nestled on the lush palm hills and rice fields, visitors will be amazed by its peaceful and quiet beauty here. Enjoy the pure air, feel the friendliness and hospitality of locals, and learn about daily life and the unique cultural features of the Tay ethnic community.
Back to your homestay. Be free time for you to walk and take in the beautiful landscape surrounding before sunset.
Explore Dong Van Geopark ( Dong Van Karst Plateau), admire Fairy Twin Mountain (Quan Ba Twin Mountain), and visit King Meo’s palace (The Vuong family mansion).
8:00 AM: Begin the journey to Dong Van, which is famous for its stunning landscapes and attractive attractions. First, stop at Quyet Tien commune to visit a small village of Bo Y people (known as Chung Cha or Trong Gia), an ethnic minority totaling just over 3,000 people in Vietnam who live in the mountainous parts of the north. Then transfer to reach Quan Ba pass. Stop here to see the vast terraced fields, and admire the well-known Twin Fairy Mountain (Quan Ba Twin Mountain).
Continue transferring to Dong Van Stone Plateau, recognized by UNESCO as a global geological park, famous for its majestic landscapes and pristine beauty. Explore Lung Cam cultural village, take a walk around the village to visit Trinh Tuong house – the unique house style of the Mong people living on this stone plateau area. Subsequently, visit The Vuong family mansion (King Meo’s palace), located in the Sà Phìn Valley, constructed from 1919 to 1928. This unique ancient mansion is a National cultural heritage, associated with mysterious anecdotes about father and son in the Vuong family, the “leaders” of the H’Mong community in this area during the French colonial period.
Finally, we will move to Dong Van town. Check in your accommodation and have a rest.
Travel from Dong Van to Bao Lac, traverse Ma Pi Leng Pass, visit Lo Lo and H’mong ethnic communities.
Have breakfast at the hotel, then we will start the journey from Dong Van to Meo Vac by passing through Ma Pi Leng Pass. When traveling through this route, visitors will be captivated by the breathtaking natural scenery with majestic mountains and the quiet Nho River below. Then continue to drive to Bao Lac (Cao Bang). Visit Khuoi Khon village where the Lo Lo ethnic people live, about 10km away from Bao Lac town. When coming here, enjoy the fresh air of the mountains and forests, take in beautiful natural scenery, and interact with locals. Head back to Bao Lac town, enjoy lunch and check in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, move to Coc Xa village in Hong Tri commune where the Lo Lo ethnic community settles. Stroll on the trails and through the rice fields around the village, visit some local people’s families and converse with the hosts to learn about daily life as well as their traditional customs.
Come back the town and stay overnight here.
Visit a beautiful village of the San Chi ethnic community, then continue to drive to Ba Be.
Drive to Ba Be by passing through Tinh Tuc, located 30km from Bao Lac. Along the way, we will stop to explore a stunning village of the San Chi ethnic group in Hung Dao commune, Bao Lac. The peaceful village with hundreds of houses on stilts nestled behind the mountainside where offers beautiful views of the valley. To reach here, travelers must hike up a 2km steep incline. The higher you ascend, the more scenic the view becomes. Visit some local ethnic families to gain insights into the real life of people here.
Upon arrival at Pac Ngoi village in Ba Be, check in your accommodation. Partake in a biking tour through several Tay ethnic villages, then continue to cycle along the riverbank and within Ba Be National Park to reach Hua Ma Cave located halfway up Lonely Mountain, 5 km from the Pac Ngoi village. Hua Ma Cave is 700 meters long and has been naturally formed by the process of geological changes over thousands of years. Go deep into the cave, you will be amazed by the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites with their many unique shapes that shimmer fantastically in the light. This is a place featuring beautiful pristine landscapes, associated with mystical legends.
In the late afternoon, come back to Pac Ngoi village. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the homestay here.
Take a boat trip to discover Puong Cave and Dau Dang waterfall. afterward, return to Hanoi.
In the early morning, we will walk from the village to the pier for a boat ride on Ba Be Lake (You can also swim in the lake’s cool water if you want). Stop to explore the Fairy Pond (Ao Tien) which is located in the heart of the primeval forest. Continue to move towards the Nang River. Walk along the riverbank and immerse yourself in the unspoiled natural beauty to reach Dau Dang Waterfall (known as Ta Ken) – a gorgeous spot in Ba Be National Park.
Continue our boat trip in the opposite direction along the Nang River to explore Puong Cave, a vast limestone cave in the Phja Puong mountain range. This cave is the habitat of ten thousand bats in the area. Going inside the cave, visitors will take in majestic cliffs of all unique forms created by the erosion of the river. Then sail the boat via the cave to Buoc Lom Pier.
Meet with our driver to transfer you back to Hanoi. We will be in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Complete your hotel check-in and have a break after the mountain trip.
Cruise from Ha Long to Lan Ha Bay, explore the Tra Bau area, swim & kayak, and join in the cooking class.
8:30 – 9:00 AM: Our driver will collect you at the shuttle bus stop (for shared transfers) or directly from your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi (for private transfers). Then start moving to Ha Long City on National Highway No5B, the journey lasts about 2.5 hours, passing through a series of villages and rice fields in the Red River Delta. There will be a stop along the way for drinks and restrooms. Reaching the harbor around noon.
12:00: The crew of Peony Cruises will greet you at their lounge in Tuan Chau Harbor. Then take you aboard the support vessel at the wharf and transfer via the Ha Long Bay to board the Peony Cruise.
13:00: On the cruise, you’re provided with drinks and cold towels. Then set sail to Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Enjoy lunch with many delicious delicacies and fresh seafood at the restaurant on the cruise while cruising and seeing beautiful scenery along Lan Ha Bay.
15:30: Explore Tra Bau fishing village, located on Lan Ha Bay in the Cat Ba archipelago (Hai Phong). This serene village is famous for its unspoiled beauty and attractive seascape. Travelers can swim or kayak to discover Lan Ha Bay and take in the surrounding limestone islands. Besides, take a dip in the Jacuzzi pool on Peony Cruises.
17:30-18:00: Back to the cruise to watch the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. This is a great time for photography enthusiasts to capture stunning sunset photos over the bay. The ‘Happy Hour’ promotion will also take place now, so you should take advantage of the ‘Buy one, get one free’ offer. Attend a cookery class onboard to learn how to prepare spring rolls, a famous Vietnamese food.
19:30: Indulge in the delicious dishes prepared by our expert chefs.
21:00-22:00: Relax and sip cocktails and drinks at the Sky Bar (at an extra charge), enjoy a spa service (with a surcharge), relax on the top deck, rest in your room, squid fishing…
Visit the Trung Trang cave, discover Cat Ba National Park, and then drive back to Hanoi for a night train to Hue.
6:00 AM: Start your new day with a Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise on the bay.
6:45 – 7:15 AM: Have breakfast as the cruise returns to Gia Luan jetty (the time of breakfast may be adjusted to suit the actual itinerary). Then start moving to Trung Trang cave, this journey takes about 30 minutes.
8:00: Explore Trung Trang cave – the largest and most stunning limestone cave in Cat Ba National Park. During the visit, visitors will be overwhelmed by the magical beauty of thousands of shimmering stalactites in various unique shapes, formed over millions of years. In addition, Trung Trang cave is also home to many other animals such as bats, birds, reptiles, insects… All create a typical cave ecosystem.
9.30 AM: Back to the cruise. Pack up all your belongings and remove everything from the cabin. Complete the check-out procedure, then enjoy lunch on the cruise. Please pay the surcharge (if any) at reception.
11:00 – 11:30: Transfer back to the harbor.
11:45: Dock at Tuan Chau International Marina.
Our driver will be at the harbor to take you back to Hanoi via the new highway No.5B for about 2.5 hours.
In the evening, our driver will pick you up from your hotel for a short drive to Hanoi Train Station. Experience the traditional train overnight from Hanoi to Hue.
Spend the entire day exploring Hue: Take a boat trip on the Perfume River; explore villages Tien Non, Thanh Tien, Sinh; visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Hue Citadel.
Upon arrival at Hue railway station in the morning, our tour guide and driver will welcome you and take you to the hotel to check in and drop off your luggage. Later, start exploring Hue.
Arrive at Toa Kham pier, board a royal boat to cruise along the Huong River and visit the villages in the east of the city. This is an opportunity for you to explore the daily life of locals on both sides of the poetic Huong River. Upon reaching Tien Non village, we will cycle along the countryside road to discover 3 villages: Tien Non, Thanh Tien, and Sinh.
At Tien Non village, visit the Tien Phuoc temple – one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Hue and learn about the traditional lacquer craft. Then head to Thanh Tien, a renowned 300-year-old village of paper flower making, where you can learn how to make paper flowers under the instruction of local craftsmen. Proceed to visit Sinh village, a traditional folk painting village with over 400 years of history, known for its unique traditional printing techniques. You can buy a few beautiful souvenirs in these villages. Finally, get on the boat back to the city.
In the afternoon, visit Thien Mu Pagoda on Ha Khe Hill, one of the most ancient pagodas in Hue, constructed in 1601. This sacred pagoda offers a beautiful overlook of the Huong River, well-known for its majestic octagonal tower (Phuoc Duyen Tower). Thien Mu pagoda is considered an important spiritual site for the people of Hue, visiting this place will bring you a feeling of serenity and peace.
Continue to visit the top destination in Hue City – Hue Citadel, the imperial city of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). Hue Citadel was erected based on the architecture of Vauban (France), consisting of three rounds of ramparts: Imperial City (Hoang Thanh), Forbidden City (Tu Cam Thanh), and Citadel (Kinh Thanh). This area concentrates almost all of Hue City’s most famous and beautiful sights, including the Flag Tower, the South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Dynasty Temple area, the settlement area…
At the end of the tour, take you back to your hotel.
Visit Khai Dinh King’s tomb before transferring to Hoi An. Move to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass, and stop at Da Nang to visit the Cham Sculpture Museum. Spend a half-day exploring Hoi An City.
7:30: Move from your hotel for a visit to Khai Dinh King’s tomb. Constructed in 11 years (1920-1931) on Chau Chu Hill, this tomb is considered the most magnificent tomb in the entire system of royal tombs in Hue. The tomb of Khai Dinh uniquely mixes Eastern and Western architecture, which makes a difference compared to the tombs of other Nguyen emperors. After exploring the Thien Dinh Palace, which is located at the top, you will walk down for a panoramic view of the tomb and surrounding area.
Transfer to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass – the most beautiful coastal pass route in Vietnam. Make a stop at the top of Hai Van Pass to admire the breathtaking vistas of the ocean and Da Nang City from above. Once arrive in Da Nang, pause to visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which saves and exhibits many of the most important Cham cultural collections in Vietnam. Head to My Khe beach, stroll on the beach and contemplate the view of the giant Goddess of Mercy statue in Linh Ung Pagoda. Afterward, continue driving to Hoi An.
In the afternoon, Begin to explore Hoi An ancient town that used to be one of the most lively international trading ports in Southeast Asia and today the old town remains intact. Upon arriving here, travelers will easily feel the intermingling of different cultures in the many historic buildings, the religions, and the lifestyles of local people.
The first destination is Cam Pho – one of the oldest communal houses in Hoi An. The entire communal house was constructed in the shape of “Quoc” (in the Chinese character), meaning “country”. This place is for the worship and the celebration of traditional village festivals.
Take a walk to Chua Cau (Japanese Covered Bridge), the symbol of Hoi An city. Chua Cau was built by Japanese merchants in the 17th century to interconnect the Japanese quarter with the Chinese neighborhoods. Over the past 400 years, the bridge has still maintained its original architectural style.
Continue to visit Quan Thang Ancient House – one of the most beautiful old houses in Hoi An. This house has a bold eastern style of architecture with lively and fine carvings made by the famous artisans from Kim Bong carpentry village. When you visit this place, you can partly imagine the lifestyle of the merchant class in the former Hoi An.
The last stop on the tour today is the Phuc Kien assembly hall, which was built in the 17th century in the ancient Chinese architectural style. The assembly hall served as a meeting place for the locals, traders, and visitors from the Fujian area of China. It is also a religious site for the worship of the deity Thien Hau.
Then take you back to the hotel, you will have free time to rest or explore the city on your own.
A wonderful day to visit the villages of Kim Bong, Tra Nhieu, and Cam Thanh. Take a boat trip & cycle in the countryside, meet & interact with the local people.
Gather at the hotel and start going to Hoi An pier to board the ferry across Thu Bon River to Kim Bong village. En route, you can enjoy the pure air and take in the peaceful scenery along both sides of the river.
Kim Bong is a well-known traditional carpentry village for a long time. We will cycle to explore the village and learn about the daily life of the locals. Visit a carpentry workshop and observe the carpenters at work. Travelers can also buy some wooden products as souvenirs.
Continue biking along the trails via rice fields and bamboo bridges to reach Tra Nhieu village. Enjoy the idyllic atmosphere in the countryside with vast fields, farmers and buffaloes working in the fields. Then take a boat trip along the Thu Bon River to Cam Thanh village.
When arriving at Cam Thanh village, get on a small bamboo basket boat and row to the water palm tree forest and experience catching crabs here. This is a relaxing time and makes you feel better after cycling for hours.
Later, have a short break at the fisherman’s house (Mr. Phong). Enjoy a cup of green tea and experience a foot massage with medicinal herbs planted in the family garden. Then, learn how to prepare dishes such as spring rolls, crispy pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaves, tam huu… using herbs and vegetables from Tra Que village. Finally, savor the dishes you have made.
At the end of the day, come back to Hoi An city.
Discover My Son Sanctuary, learn more about the unique architecture of the sanctuary complex & Champa culture, then fly to Ho Chi Minh City.
8:00 AM: Transfer to My Son Sanctuary, 40 km from Hoi An City. We will spend a half-day exploring the sacred valley of the ancient Champa kingdom, a UNESCO World Culture Heritage Site. My Son Sanctuary was one of the main cultural and religious centers of the Champa Kingdom and it is also believed that the Cham monarchs were buried here.
Located in an elevated geological basin, surrounded by hills and mountains, the My Son Sanctuary complex includes over 70 unique old architectural structures dating from the 7th to the 13th centuries. Visit the ancient towers, elaborately constructed and finely carved with numerous lively details. When making a stop at each relic, the tour guide will offer detailed information about its history, culture, and architecture. Before ending the tour, visitors can enjoy the traditional Cham dance (Apsara dance).
After the excursion, drive you to Danang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon landing at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide and driver will welcome you right at the pickup lobby and take you to the hotel. During the way to the city center, the guide will offer information about the city’s popular attractions and share experiences of culture, traffic, dining, weather…

Explore Ho Chi Minh City’s most well-known destinations: Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, Binh Tay Market, Quan Am Pagoda, and the Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine.
9:00 AM: Transport you from the hotel to the Independence Palace, once served as the residence – office of the president of South Vietnam. During the tour, you will take in the North Vietnamese tank that played a significant part in the attack on the palace on 30/4/1975, which marked the end of the Vietnam War. Visit the five-story palace, where all rooms (including a bunker basement) have been carefully conserved in the architectural style of the late 1960s-1970s.
Stroll toward the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, built from 1863 to 1880 in Romanesque architectural styles. This is a renowned attraction in the heart of the city with scenic views.
Continue with a leisurely walking tour along Nguyen Hue Walking Street. Then visit Saigon Central Post Office, one of the unmissable renowned landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City. This eye-catching yellow building is designed by the famous French architect, Gustave Eiffel. Today, the Central Post Office not only offers essential postal and telecommunications services but also becomes an attractive cultural and tourist destination.
Explore the Binh Tay Market, located in the Chinatown of Saigon. This is one of the biggest markets in Ho Chi Minh City with hundreds of stalls selling everything from food, clothes, shoes, housewares, souvenirs… Visitors can also sample local specialties and street food at the food court.
Visit Quan Am Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Sai Gon where worship of Guan Yin. This sacred pagoda has unique architecture and is surrounded by many green trees and a lotus pond, creating a fresh and tranquil ambiance amidst the noisy and bustling city
The final destination is the FITO Museum (the Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine) which reserves and exhibits medicinal herb formulas, miraculous medicines, and a collection of 3,000 unique tools related to traditional medicine.
Take you back to the hotel.
Take a special excursion to Cu Chi tunnels, then explore Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh.
8:00 AM: Transfer from your hotel to the Cu Chi to explore the most distinctive military architectural masterpiece in the history of the Vietnam War – Cu Chi Tunnels.
With a vast network of tunnels stretching over 250km, Cu Chi tunnels are likened to a unique underground city. All tunnels were meticulously dug over twenty years using simple tools like pickaxes and shovels. Inside these tunnels, Vietnamese communist soldiers and inhabitants of Cu Chi’s “steel land” waged a war of resistance against American troops. During the tour, you will be introduced to this complex tunnel system and have the opportunity to go inside to uncover some parts of the tunnels. Visit the nearby Ben Duoc Memorial Temple to show respect to the martyrs who gave their lives at Cu Chi.
Afterward, continue your journey to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Temple, one of the holiest and most important sites for followers of Caodaism in Vietnam. After exploration of this magnificent temple, you can participate in the midday mass.
Have lunch at a local restaurant, then make the way back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Transfer from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre City, take a boat ride and cycle in Ben Tre, interact with locals, explore the gardens, and stay overnight at a homestay.
8:00 AM: Pick you up at the hotel for the drive to Ben Tre, a beautiful land in the Mekong Delta River, well-known for lots of coconuts and the manufacture of coconut candies.
On arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, take a boat trip on the Ben Tre River to explore the daily life of the local people. Then, continue the boat along a small canal to Nhon Thanh village, where you will have the chance to enjoy the freshest fruits right at the orchard. Ride a bike (or tuk-tuk) on a small road via the villages and see the beautiful natural scenery of the countryside with its coconut ranges, gardens, vast rice fields…
Enjoy lunch in the village and taste the local specialty – elephant ear fish. Later, take a short walk around the village to further explore the life of the locals. Experience a boat trip along a small canal under the shade of the palm trees.
In the late afternoon, the drive from Ben Tre to Cai Lay (Tien Giang), this journey lasts approximately one hour. When arriving at the homestay, you will be welcomed with enthusiasm by your host. Join your host in making Banh Xeo, a traditional food of the southern region.
Indulge in dinner and stay overnight at Cai Lay.
Discovery of the Mekong Delta: explore the orchards, visit Kien An Cung Pagoda & Huynh Thuy Le’s house.
After having breakfast at your homestay, ride a bicycle (about 1-1.5 hours) along the road from Dong Hoa to Tam Binh, passing via some fruit gardens such as sapodilla, durian, longan…meet and interact with local people, then visit a bustling local market. Back to your homestay for drinks and rest a bit.
Extra optional activity: Walk and cycle with a local guide to Ngu Hiep Islet, where the Mekong’s alluvial deposits have built up into fertile land. On this interesting trip, you will get to discover the lush fruit gardens. In particular, the place grows a lot of durians.
Note: If you don’t want to ride a bike, you can ask your guide to organize a motorbike for you to ride, or you can sit in the back of one.
Drive to Long Xuyen via Sa Dec city (Dong Thap). En route, we will stop off at Sa Dec to visit the Kien An Cung Pagoda and Huynh Thuy Le’s house (well-known for its romantic love story in the novel “Lover – L’Amant” by Marguerite Duras), explore the local market in Sa Dec. Afterward, continue to transfer to Long Xuyen. After arriving in Long Xuyen, check in at the hotel and stay overnight.
Long Xuyen exploration tour: Visit the Long Xuyen floating market, discover Cu Lao Ong Ho (Ong Ho Island), and then head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the morning, go boating to explore Long Xuyen Floating Market, the only floating market in An Giang that provides you with the most real experiences about the lives of the western river region.
