Welcome to Ha Noi! Enjoy a walking tour to explore the Old Quarter.
When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, our tour guide and driver will be at the pickup lobby to welcome and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. During the 45-minute drive from the airport to the city center, the tour guide will introduce briefing information about the most attractions in the city, traffic, culture, cuisine…
Upon reaching your hotel, complete the check-in process and rest a bit.
Note: the hotel’s check-in time is at 14:00.
For the remainder of the day, the tour guide will lead you on a walk around the serene Hoan Kiem Lake to the opera house. On the way, we make a stop at some spots such as the statue of King Ly Thai To, Vietnamese Government Guest House, and the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. Then, walk back to the old town to visit some main streets before concluding the tour and returning to your hotel.
Option: If your flight arrives late or you suffer from jet lag after a long journey, you can reschedule the walking tour to the city tour day.
Explore a World Heritage site – Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam, visit a city’s museum, take a stroll to the French Quarter and Ho Chi Minh Complex, walk around West Lake and the Old Quarter, and a water puppet show.
9:00 AM, our tour guide will collect you and take you to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam). This historical site was constructed under the Ly dynasty in the 11th century for the worship of Confucius and the education of royal children, and nobles. Walk around the Temple of Literature’s campus and visit historic monuments like Quoc Tu Giam (Vietnam’s first university), Khue Van Cac (Hanoi’s symbol), 82 doctoral stelae (World Documentary Heritage), the House of Ceremonies, Thien Quang well…
Select one of the city’s museums to visit (choices including Hoa Lo Prison, the National History Museum, the Museum of Ethnology, and the Fine Art Museum). After the museum visit, take a break for lunch or drinks at your own expense.
In the afternoon, take a walk in the French Quarter, often referred to as “little Paris” in Hanoi with tree-lined boulevards, government head offices, and a spacious square. Then, We will visit the outside of Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum. Stroll through the botanical gardens to visit the Presidential Palace and the stilt house ( where Uncle Ho used to live and work). Our next destination is the One Pillar Pagoda, a thousand-year-old Buddhist architectural marvel with symbolic significance in Hanoi. The complete exploration of this complex will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the number of travelers.
After exploring the One Pillar Pagoda, continue walking for about 20 minutes to visit Quan Thanh Temple (Tran Vu Temple), which is considered one of the four guardian temples in Thang Long. This temple was built in the 11th century during the reign of King Lý Thái Tổ (1010 – 1028), worshiping Huyen Thien Tran Vu (Tran Vu god – the god guarding the north of the capital in Taoism). Take a stroll on the romantic road crossing the West Lake and stop to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, an important Buddhist pagoda in Hanoi dating back to the 6th century.
Finish the tour day with a delightful experience of watching water puppet shows. This is a traditional performing art form in Vietnam that combines puppetry techniques, water effects, and traditional music. It originated in the 11th century in the Red River Delta. These performances typically describe historical events, legends, and Vietnamese rural life through puppets on water.
Take you back to the hotel.
Travel to Ha Long Bay, experience an incredible sailing route, enjoy swimming at Titov Beach, and admire the panoramic view of the bay.
At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up at your hotel located in the Hanoi Old Quarter and depart to Ha Long Bay. This journey lasts about 3 hours and passes through a series of villages and rice fields in the Red River Delta. Along the way, there will be a stop for drinks and restrooms. Arriving at the harbor around noon, you will get a warm welcome at the cruise reception.
At 12:30, complete the check-in process on the boat, then check carefully the cruise summary and safety instructions. Begin cruising and exploring Ha Long Bay – one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Indulge in a buffet lunch featuring Vietnamese dishes while cruising through the bay. You’ll pass through some of the most beautiful and tranquil areas including Dog Stone Islet, Soi Sim Beach, Incense Burner, Fighting Cock, and Coconut Tree Islands. In the afternoon, explore the Tung Sau area, surrounded by towering rocks and renowned for its cultured pearl fishery. Travelers will behold the process of pearl cultivation, harvesting, and crafting.
Continue to discover Titov Island, a serene and beautiful island often considered a “jewel” in the heart of the wonders of Ha Long Bay. Titov Beach is known for its smooth white sand beach and crystal-clear blue water throughout all four seasons. This is an ideal spot for relaxing, swimming, kayaking, and sunbathing. Alternatively, you can climb to the summit of Titov Island and stand at the “observation tower” to admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
Return to the boat and navigate to the Luon Bo area where the boat will anchor for the night.

At 18:30, engage in the Cooking class on the sundeck where you can learn to make spring rolls, a traditional Vietnamese dish. Following, enjoy Happy Hour (buy one drink, get one free). This is an ideal moment to converse, relax, and watch the stunning sunset over Ha Long Bay.

Evening activities: Leisure time for conversing around the bar, watching movies, enjoying a romantic night with Cozy Bay Cruise’s music, playing chess/cards, and reading magazines/books in your room/dining area. Besides you can try fishing and squid fishing on the boat.
Exploring the renowned Sung Sot Cave, leisurely cruising on the boat, then returning to Ha Noi.
At 6:30 AM, Begin your new day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. This gentle nursing exercise involves slow movements and deep breathing, offering numerous benefits for both health and spirit.
Enjoy breakfast featuring coffee, tea, and pastries in the dining room which offers a view of the bay’s landscape.
Board on tender/canoe transfer to Sung Sot Cave (situated on Bo Hon Island). Ascend 50 steps and descend 10 steps to reach the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest caves in Halong Bay featuring beautiful stalactites linked to the legend of Thanh Giong.
Board on tender/canoe and return to the cruise. Finalize check-out procedures and settle your bill at reception.
Indulge in a buffet brunch and enjoy the beauty of the bay while the cruise navigates back to Tuan Chau Wharf.
11h30-12h00: Disembark.
Be picked up by the driver at the harbor and transfer back to Ha Noi. Get dropped off at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
