Welcome to Hanoi! We will take a relaxing stroll around the Old Quarter.
Our driver and tour guide will meet you at the pick-up hall as soon as you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, and then drive you to your hotel in Old Quarter. Along the way to the city center, the guide will offer you information about the highlight attractions in Hanoi and share the traffic, cuisine, culture, weather… Arriving at your hotel, check-in and have a rest.
Please note: Check-in time at the hotel is 14:00.
For the rest of the day, our guide will take you on a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake to the Opera House. En route, stop at some places such as the King Ly Thai To statue, Vietnamese Government Guest House, and Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. Then get back to the old town for a walk to explore a few of the main streets before returning to your hotel.
Option: if your flight arrives late or you feel jet lag after a long journey, the walking tour is moved to the day of the city tour.
Explore Hanoi’s popular attractions, tour the French Quarter & Ho Chi Minh Complex, take a stroll along the West Lake and stop to visit some ancient pagodas.
9:00 AM: Begin the transfer for a visit to the Temple of Literature. This historical relic complex, constructed during the 11th century under the Ly dynasty, served as a place of worship for Confucius and education for royal children & nobles. Stroll through the Giam Garden to head to Khue Van Cac – the symbol of Hanoi, discover Quoc Tu Giam (Vietnam’s first university), and visit various monuments here including the 82 doctoral stelae (a UNESCO World Documentary Heritage), Khai Thanh Temple, the House of Ceremonies, and Thien Quang Well…
Select one of the renowned museums in the city to discover (options include the Hoa Lo Prison Relic, the National Museum of History, the Museum of Ethnology, and the Museum of Fine Arts). Following your museum visit, take a break for lunch and drinks (costs at your own expense).
In the afternoon, explore the French Quarter, often referred to as a “little Paris” in Hanoi featuring tree-lined streets, government offices, and a spacious square. Observe the exterior of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Then, stroll through the botanical gardens to visit the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, where Uncle Ho lived and worked. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique masterpiece of Buddhist architecture. The duration of this tour is 1-2 hours, depending on the number of visitors.
Proceed with the visit to the Quan Thanh Temple, considered one of the four guardian temples in Thang Long. Constructed during the 11th century under the reign of King Ly Thai To (1010 – 1028), this ancient temple is dedicated to Huyen Thien Tran Vu (Tran Vu god – the deity protecting the north of the capital). Afterward, go for a walk along a picturesque road across the West Lake. Make a stop at the Tran Quoc Pagoda, built in the 6th century during the rule of Emperor Ly Nam De dynasty. This is a sacred and important Buddhist pagoda for the Hanoi people.
Conclude the day tour by enjoying the interesting water puppet show. Originating in the Red River Delta during the 11th century, this unique Vietnamese performing art form typically revolves around historical events, depicting the culture, beliefs, and rural life of Vietnam through the manipulation of puppets on water. The show also integrates traditional music.
Return to your hotel.
Dedicate an entire day to the exploration of Ninh Binh at the attractions: Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, and Bich Dong.
8:00 AM: Gather at the hotel, then transfer to Ninh Binh—a captivating destination imbued with historical, cultural, religious, and geographic wonders. During the journey traverse the Red River delta, feel free to make the stops to take photos as you desire.
First, we will head to Hoa Lu, the capital of the first centralized feudal state in Vietnam (from 968 to 1010). The Hoa Lu citadel is enveloped by limestone mountain ranges and rivers, creates a natural protective barrier and makes a magnificent landscape.
Upon arriving at Hoa Lu, visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le. Both sacred temples were constructed in the 17th century to pay homage to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (the founding emperor of the Dinh Dynasty, reigning from 968 to 980) and Emperor Le Dai Hanh (the founding emperor of the pre-Le Dynasty, reigning from 980 to 1005). These emperors played a crucial role in securing the country’s independence after a thousand years of Northern Feudal rule.
Continue to visit Bich Dong, a famous ancient pagoda in the Red River Delta, dating back to the 15th century. Bich Dong comprises three separate pagodas situated on a limestone mountain in low to high order: Chua Ha – Chua Trung – Chua Thuong. Nestled within natural caves, these pagodas are surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Travelers will cross a stone bridge to reach Chua Ha, ascend over 100 steps to access Chua Trung, and continue the hike up to Chua Thuong. A visit to Bich Dong provides an opportunity to delve into Buddhism and enjoy the scenic landscapes.
Have lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to Tam Coc, likened to “Halong Bay on land” with its stunning landscapes, which served as the backdrop in the famous French movie ‘Indochina’. Upon reaching the pier, get on a private sampan for a 90-minute cruise along the Ngo Dong River. We will sail the boat via three picturesque natural caves. Enjoy the poetic scenery of rice paddies, as well as majestic limestone mountains interwoven with small villages and temples along both sides of the river.
Take the way back to Ha Noi in the late afternoon and arrive around 6:00 PM.
Moving from Hanoi to Ha Long. Cruising Ha Long Bay, visiting the Pearl farm, swimming and kayaking at Titov Island, and admiring the panoramic view of the bay.
8:00 AM: Commence the journey from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. The approximate travel time is 3 hours, traversing through the series of villages and fields in the Red River Delta. Along the way, there will be a brief stop for drinks and restrooms. Reach the harbor around noon, you will receive a warm welcome at the reception.
12:30: Check-in on the cruise, then carefully review the cruise summary & safety instructions. Start cruising and discovering Ha Long Bay – one of the new seven natural wonders of the world.
Savor a buffet lunch featuring Vietnamese dishes as you cruise through the bay. Pass via some of the most beautiful and tranquil areas such as Dog Stone Islet, Incense Burner, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim Beach, and Coconut Tree Islands. In the afternoon, tour the Tung Sau area, which is surrounded by towering rocks and well-known for its cultured pearl fishery. Visit a pearl farm, and follow the process of growing, harvesting & crafting pearls.
Explore Titov Island, one of the most peaceful and beautiful islands in Ha Long Bay, known for its pure air, clear blue waters and smooth white sand beach. This is considered a great place to relax, sunbathe, swim, and kayak. Travelers can climb up to the top of Titov Island to contemplate the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay.
Head back to the cruise and sail to the Luon Bo area where the cruise will be anchored overnight.

18:30: Join the cooking class onboard to learn how to make spring rolls, a famous dish of Vietnam. Later, partake in the “Happy Hour” promotion – buy one drink, get one free. It’s also a great time to chat, unwind, and see the sunset over Ha Long Bay.
Dinner: The luxury Vietnamese BBQ set menu.
Evening activities include: chatting at the bar, listening to music, watching movies, playing chess/cards, or resting in your room… Additionally, you can experience fishing and squid fishing.
Discover Sung Sot Cave, enjoy a leisurely cruise trip, then return to Hanoi.
06:00 AM: Get up early to do morning exercise or watch the sunrise over Ha Long Bay.
7:00 AM: Savor a light breakfast with pastries, Pho, noodle soup, tea/coffee…in the dining room with views of the bay landscape.
07:45 AM: Transported you to Sung Sot Cave by tender boat. This is one of the largest caves in Halong Bay, explored in 1901 by a French scientist, and now an unmissable destination when visiting Ha Long Bay. Going inside the cave, visitors will be attracted by the stunning stalactites and stalagmites with many unique shapes, making a mysterious ambiance.
09:15 AM: Get back to the cruise to check out and pay your bill (if any) at the front desk.
10:30 AM: Enjoy a buffet lunch as the cruise sail back to Tuan Chau Wharf.
11h30-12h00: Disembark.
The driver will collect you at the harbor and transport you back to your hotel in Hanoi.
Subsequently, the driver will wait for you at your hotel to continue transporting you to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Da Nang.
Upon arriving at Da Nang Airport, our tour guide and driver will meet you right at the pickup lobby and take you to the hotel.

Explore the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) and take an excursion to famous destinations in Da Nang like Cham Sculpture Museum – Son Tra Peninsula – Linh Ung Pagoda.
8:00 AM: Start traveling from your hotel to Marble Mountain, 8km from Da Nang city center, renowned for its magnificent landscapes. This place consists of 5 limestone mountains rising right next to the coast of Da Nang, named after the 5 basic elements of the universe: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. We will explore the caves: Tang Chon, Huyen Khong & Am Phu along with the pagodas and temples inside them. Then hike up to the highest position at Thuy Son Peak to admire the scenic natural view of the entire Ngu Hanh Son mountain.
Visit the Non Nuoc village, located at the foot of Ngu Hanh Son mountain. This is a famous traditional stone carving village in Da Nang. Here, admire unique products created by artisans from marble, and choose beautiful small stone souvenirs to buy.
Return to the city to visit the Cham Sculpture Museum, which saves and showcases the world’s largest collection of Cham artifacts with over 300 sculptures made of terracotta, sandstone & bronze, and artifacts depicting Hindu Gods – Linga – Yoni. Additionally, it features an additional exhibition highlighting modern Cham culture, including photographs, clothing, and videos. This collection serves as evidence of the golden era of the Champa Kingdom, spanning from the 4th to the 13th century in the central coastal areas of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, transfer from Da Nang city via Thuan Phuoc Bridge – Vietnam’s longest suspension bridge. Head north to Son Tra Peninsula, where you can take in breathtaking natural scenery. Make a stop to capture memorable pictures in Man Thai fishing village, renowned for its seafood-catching profession and fish sauce production.
Continue to visit Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the highest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Vietnam, with 67 meters high. Take a stroll to see the marble sculpture & bonsai garden, and enjoy the scenic views of the ocean and Da Nang city.
Take the way back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Enjoy a ride on one of the most remarkable cable cars in the world, visit the French village, explore the Golden Bridge & Fantasy Park.
8:00 am: Leave your hotel and spend a full day visiting the Ba Na Hill complex. Located at an elevation of 1478m above sea level and 25km from Da Nang city, Ba Na Hill boasts a cool climate throughout the year which makes it an ideal resort since the time of the French colonists. Upon arrival, experience a 20-minute journey on the most impressive cable cars in the world to reach the peak of Ba Na Hill and take in the beautiful scenery from above.
When arriving at the station, take an excursion to Linh Ung Pagoda and admire the giant statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, and stand at the pagoda and look down, you can see the panoramic view of Da Nang. Stroll in green gardens featuring various types of flora and flowers. Visit the French village atop Chua Mountain, built in Gothic architectural style and likened to a miniature European town in the heart of Da Nang including a square, church, castles, small villages, wine storage… Continue to walk on the Golden Bridge – one of the 10 bridges with the most beautiful architecture in the world.
Experience and enjoy great moments in Fantasy Park – the largest indoor amusement park in Vietnam with a world-class, including over 100 games of all genres from normal games to thrilling games, suitable for all people from children to adults and youth. Then get back to the city.
Dedicate an entire day to the exploration of Hoi An ancient town.
8:00 AM: Pick you up at the hotel and start the drive to Hoi An.
When arriving in Hoi An city, we will visit the Cam Pho communal house first. This is the most ancient communal house in Hoi An, which serves as a place to worship and hosts annual local festivals. Cam Pho has retained its original architecture to this day.
Walk to Chua Cau (Japanese Covered Bridge) – the symbol of Hoi An City, built by Japanese merchants in the 17th century to facilitate the Japanese quarter to have easier access to the Chinese neighborhoods. The bridge’s original unique architectural style has still been conserved intact over the last 400 years.
Continue to visit Quan Thang Ancient House, one of the most renowned old houses in Hoi An. The house has the typical architectural style of the Hoa Ha region, with delicate and vivid woodcarvings made by artisans from the Kim Bong carpentry village. Coming here, travelers can partly imagine the lifestyle of the merchant class in former Hoi An.
Take an excursion to the Phuc Kien assembly hall, constructed in the 17th century according to old Chinese architectural style. This assembly hall was used as a meeting place for the residents, traders, and visitors from the Fujian region of China. It is also a religious site for worshipping the deity Thien Hau.
Have lunch, then freely explore Hoi An city or go shopping at your own discretion. Take a short excursion to Tra Que Vegetable Village before getting back to Da Nang.
Travel from Da Nang to Hue via Hai Van Pass, then visit the Complex of Hue Monuments.
8:00 AM: Begin to transfer to the North of Da Nang, passing via Hai Van Pass to Hue, this is the most beautiful coastal pass route in Vietnam. We will stop at the top pass to visit Hai Van Quan which was once considered a border gate between Vietnam and the ancient Champa kingdom. Relax a bit and admire the stunning natural view right here. Then continue the journey to Hue.
Upon arrival in Hue, visit the tomb of King Khai Dinh, erected on Chau Chu Hill in 11 years (1920-1931). This tomb is a unique combination of Eastern and Western architecture and is also considered the most magnificent tomb in Hue’s entire tomb system. hike up a hundred steps to explore Thien Dinh Palace at the highest position, then visit the small museum that displays royal objects right next door. You can obverse the panoramic view of the tomb and its surroundings when walking down.
Savor lunch, then continue to explore the most popular place in Hue city – the Hue Citadel, Vietnam’s imperial city during the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945). The Hue Citadel was constructed based on the Vauban architecture (France) and was divided into three rounds of ramparts: Imperial City (Hoang Thanh), Forbidden City (Tu Cam Thanh), and Citadel (Kinh Thanh). This area concentrates on the majority of Hue City’s most beautiful sites, including the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Flag Tower, the South Gate, the Dynasty Temple area, and the settlement area.
In the late afternoon, travel back to Da Nang.
